February Outing – Jerrabomberra Wetlands

Expect to see water birds and waders. Latham’s Snipe may even be there before migrating. There will be woodland birds too, and insects should be very active.
Date and Time: Saturday 22 Feb, 9 am
Meeting Place: Dairy Flat Road carpark
Walk description: flat to gently undulating on paths and well-formed tracks
Bring: binoculars, water, sun protection

Afterwards: optional coffee and cake at nearby Contentious Character, 4/1 Dairy Rd. Park in carpark ‘P1’ – second turn to the right after leaving the wetlands.
