July Outing – Megafauna at the ANBG

26 July 2025 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Come and find out about the fascinating life and times of Australian megafauna. After last year’s popular outing, Bronwyn Saunders has kindly offered to do it again! She has learnt more about some of the animals and would love to share this information.

LATE UPDATE – Rain is forecast for Saturday, and if it is wet, please don’t be put off by the weather. Bronwyn has a wet-weather option! She will share her new information with a power point presentation in a dry seminar room. Meeting details are unchanged. Bring a jacket, though, in case there is a break in the weather. Coffee after!

Time and Date: 9:30 am, Saturday 26 July

Meeting Place: Visitors Centre, Australian National Botanic Gardens

Walk Description: Discussions about megafauna during a leisurely walk around the megafauna display in the ANBG

After: Coffee at the Pollen Cafe in the Gardens.

This will be a special event for Field Naturalists following Bronwyn’s sessions with ANBG earlier in the month.

Please RSVP by using the form to the right, or by email to John at outings@fieldnatsact.com

Bronwyn is “a passionate citizen scientist who delights in sharing facts about Australian’s natural history”.
She has written a non-fiction children’s book, “Diprotodon”, published by CSIRO in 2023.
