October Outing – Mt. Majura Spotlight Walk

Come with Jenni to look for creatures of the night. If you’re lucky, you might find Kreft’s Gliders or Ring-tailed Possums!

Time and Date: Mon 14th Oct, 7 pm summer time for a 7:15 pm start (duration 2 hours approx.)

Meeting Place: Mt Majura Nature-park gate & carpark, off MacKenzie St, near Grayson St, Hackett.

Walk Description: A short walk along a gravel fire trail (Blue metal Rd), then along a slightly rougher track under powerlines and along a steeper narrow path a shortish distance up the Casuarina trail on the lower slopes of Mt Majura

Walk Distance: 1 km each way (approx.)

Bring: A good torch (head or hand-held), fully charged or with fresh batteries, sturdy shoes, warm clothes.
