October Outing – National Wildlife Collection, Black Mountain
Anna Kearns from CSIRO has kindly made arrangements for her colleague Julian Teh to guide a small group of Field Naturalists through the National Wildlife Collection.
This event is now fully subscribed (Your name could be placed on a cancellation list if you’d like)
NB. It is envisaged that this outing is a forerunner for a later outing when a larger group of Field Naturalists could tour all the collections at Black Mountain, including the National Insect Collection and the Australian National Herbarium, as well as the National Wildlife Collection.
Date and Time: Wednesday 7th Oct, 10:30am
Meeting Place: National Collections Building (‘Diversity’ building), CSIRO, Dickson Way, Acton. If arriving by car, be aware that boom-gates restrict public vehicle access to the CSIRO. Alternatively, a convenient parking place is near the end of Frith Road – see 2nd map below.
