October Outing – Scottsdale Bush Heritage Reserve

Phil Palmer, the manager of Scottsdale is kindly hosting Field Naturalists for a day at this Bush Heritage Reserve on the Murrumbidgee River.

We will help with tree planting in the morning, have a BYO packed lunch in the hills, and be given a tour of the reserve in the afternoon. Phil will provide morning tea.

Date: Wed 30 Oct

Arrival time: 9:30 am

Departure time: 3 pm

Driving time from Civic, Canberra is 1 hour approx. Access is from the Monaro Highway, north of Bredbo.

To facilitate car-pooling from Canberra, please email John at outings@fieldnatsact.com indicating whether you would like a lift, or if you would like to offer spare seats, and if you have a 4WD vehicle (not SUV), as Scottsdale 4WD vehicles have a maximum capacity for 12 visitors.
