June Outing – Mt. Majura Spotlight Walk

Come with Jeni to look for creatures of the night under a full moon. If we’re lucky, we might find a Ring-tailed Possum or a Sugar Glider!

Time and Date: 21^st June, 4:30 – 7:30pm

Meeting Place: Mt Majura Nature-park gate & carpark, off MacKenzie St, near Grayson St, Hackett.

Walk Description: A short walk along a gravel fire trail (Blue metal Rd), then along a slightly rougher track under powerlines and along a steeper narrow path a shortish distance up the Casuarina trail on the lower slopes of Mt Majura

Walk Distance: 1 km each way (approx.)

Bring: A good torch (head or hand-held), fully charged or with fresh batteries, sturdy shoes, warm clothes.
