May Outing – Ian Loiterton Walk in the Aranda Bushland

Come and explore a new track in the Aranda Bushland with Kevin. It is named in honour of Ian Loiterton who championed its establishment.
Ian died before he could see his work finished, but he won’t be forgotten
Meeting Place: Stile on Caswell Dr, access via William Hovell Drive city bound left lane. X marks the car park on the map below (same start as the Frost Hollow to Forest Walk)
Description: It is described as a woodland walk that also passes through native grasslands, swamps, stony ridges, ancient trees and wildlife-rich glens
Walk Distance and Rating: A loop track of 2.5km (approx) with a gentle gradient (Grade 2)
