Field natters Andy and Robyn are both active volunteers at STEP and kindly offered to introduce other natters to the STEP gardens, the habitats provided by planted local regional species.
As opposed to the other mono-culture forests at the Arboretum, this is a site with multiple species in multiple ecosystems. It is a fascinating site that provides a wonderful window to the local region.
After the walk, a picnic lunch was enjoyed by the participants.
