July Monthly Meeting – Speaker: Jed Pearson “Water Invertebrates”

Jed is from Waterwatch ACT, and is an expert on river health. For those Field Naturalists who attended the Queanbeyan River walk with Queanbeyan Landcare, Jed will be familiar from his presentation of river invertebrates and his discussion about their importance to the platypus. Jed has also surveyed the Murrumbidgee River at Scottsdale Reserve, the topic of last month’s informative talk by Phil Palmer.
Refreshments available from 7pm. Mugs or keep-cups encouraged. Non-members welcomed.
